Connected Insurance Europe 2019 is just around the corner

The global insurance industry is in an unparalleled state of flux – new technology has entered the market at the same time as the focus on customer-centricity has pervaded virtually every industry. We can adapt to these new conditions, collaborate with new market players, or become irrelevant in the new digital economy.

It is with this new reality in mind that Insurance Nexus’ newly-formed Insurance Nexus Advisory Board has been set up to tackle technological disruption and what it might mean for the industry.

The Advisory Board formulated the idea of Connected Insurance Europe to explore how innovation can transform products and services within the insurance industry. Billed as the only forum uniting the core pillars of insurance management to explore how technologies such as AI, the Internet of Things and blockchain can help to create relevant, personalised insurance products and services, the event promises to give delegates intelligent insight into the future. It focuses on how innovation and strategy can win customer loyalty in years to come. With more than 70 industry heavyweights headlining the event (including the likes of Zurich, AIG, Allianz, Munich Re, AXA, Swiss Re, VitalityLife, Generali, Great American, Brightside Group, Uber, Google, PSA and more), delegates will gain exclusive insight into product development, external data sources, proven case studies and more.

The event, which is hosted by Insurance Nexus, brings ‘agents of change’ together to spark new ideas. Some of the speakers include Alessandra Chiuderi, Group Head of Analytics at Generali; Somesh Chandra, Chief Health Officer European Markets at AXA Group; Dr Evangelos Avramakis, Head Digital Ecosystems R&D at Swiss Re Institute; Matteo Carbone, Founder and Director of the IoT Insurance Observatory; Simon Gallimore, Head of Casualty, Motor Claims at AIG; Kevin Meagher, MD  of EAS Consulting, and Monika Schulze, Global CMO of Zurich.
