Financial advisers typically put in long hours on administration (some say up to two hours a day), so anything that makes admin less of a headache is a win in our book! Moving away from a reliance on paper is one way to ease the burden. RISKAfrica introduces three digital solutions that show that going paperless can make life so much easier.
Innovation Risk Services, a leading broker administrator, has taken the first step to innovative customer service through the launch of the Innovation Risk mobile app. The app has been designed with the end-user in mind and is focused on offering value-add products to clients via One Loyalty. Then there’s the CustomApp Policy Holder Self Service Solution, which keeps policyholders up to date and always connected. “This solution includes an excellent communication platform, with the likes of live chat and an RSVP manager, and is a cost-effective way for brokers to reach one or ten thousand clients,” says national sales manager Mike Stewart.
Finally, we feature Old Mutual’s XPLAN – a user-friendly, intuitive platform that allows advisers access to customer portfolio management, advice development and modelling, recommendations and documents as well as execution and lodgement. Thousands of advisers and 14 million records were migrated to XPLAN in 2017 and the centrally hosted, secure database can be used by both tied-in advisers and independent advisers (with licensing costs involved).
